Qualification of Recipients
Poor and Needy
- Recipient cannot meet basic food, clothing and shelter needs on their present income,
- Recipient is facing an unexpected medical need where they do not have insurance coverage, or
- Recipient is in need of a car and cannot purchase one on their present income.
- The recipients cannot be an immediate family member of a Board member or of the donor.

Those in the Lord's Service
- Recipient is in the ministry as a missionary or minister. Short term missionaries can qualify.
- Pastors or someone in the ministry must claim their donation from The Magi as income and fill out a W-9. Short term missionaries do not need to claim it as income, as it is not their full-time job.
- Other 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. Visit our Changed Lives page to see a list of non-profits who have received anonymous gifts through The Magi
